Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card when you book. Blackout dates are subject to their own rules.

Pay Now rates are non-refundable, full pre-paid and non-transferrable.
Pay Later rates require a cancellation notice 72 hours prior to date of arrival in order to avoid a penalty of one night’s stay. Unless otherwise noted on confirmation, please let us know if you have to cancel 72 hours before arrival to avoid penalty. If you just don’t show up, we’ll have to charge one night’s stay.

  • Museum: San Diego Museum of Art complimentary pass by presenting your room key at the museum entrance for access.

  • Bike Rentals: Please visit the front desk to reserve your bike. (Based on Availability)

Our front office team will take an incidental hold per day of $ during check-in.

After the bill has been settled during checkout, it will take 5-7 business days to see the amount reflected back into your account for any unused amount.

Yes, The Fitness Center is located on the Lower Level Floor and open 24hrs daily. It offers a wide range of equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, floor equipment, dumbbells, Peloton bikes and more.

We currently don’t offer personal training or group fitness classes, but we’re excited to announce a partnership with BayCo Fitness coming soon! Stay tuned for updates.

While we do not have a business center, guests can access our spacious lounge to work from any time of day. To request information about booking meeting room spaces ask the front desk agent.

No, we do not have a kids club.

We do not have a pool or spa, but we have a beautiful courtyard and the only urban garden in downtown San Diego for you to soak in the sun and relax.

Professional photography and videography are not permitted in public spaces or outlets. However, for event spaces that have been booked, photography and videography is permitted.

Confirmation and/or room number information is not necessary, but may be included if available. Packages for meeting attendees who are not registered guests of the hotel can also be received and stored – please indicate, if possible, event name as well as recipient phone number for the package arrival notification purposes.

Please Note: All packages sent to the hotel (as of January 8, 2024) will incur a handling charge based upon the weight of each item according to the list below.

You will be able to pick up and pay for your packages at the front desk, with proper photo ID. You can also have packages delivered to your room by our bell staff, from 7AM to 11PM daily. All charges will be billed to the room at the end of your stay.

Transportation & Parking

On-Demand valet parking is available 24/7 for $56 per night. Please check in with the Front Desk upon arrival for additional details. The recommended self-parking is available at the Columbia Parking Garage located right next door at 1050 Columbia Street, San Diego, California 92101. The garage is not affiliated with The Guild and payment is made directly with the parking garage.

San Diego International Airport is 2 miles (3.2km) away. 

 

Pets

The Guild Hotel welcomes all four-legged furry travelers up to 40lbs max per room. This means that whether it is 1 pet or 2 pets, the combined max weight is 40lbs. Please note, if your room gets dirty, a $250 cleaning fee will be added at the end of your stay.

We don’t have a designated area for pets, but we will gladly recommend local parks.
